You are able to add up to 100 photos to each listing on realtor.com® and can upload up to 50 images at a time. Adding photos to each of your listings on realtor.com® is strategically important, as consumers consistently show a preference for viewing properties with additional listing photos.
Some things to consider when adding listing photos:
- For optimal clarity, listing photos should be 3264 pixels wide by 2448 pixels high and at least 72 dpi
- The recommended size limit is 1MB (files that are larger than this may produce an error when uploaded into the system)
- JPG is the recommended file format (the Dashboard will automatically convert almost all files to JPG). Our system does not accept PNG files.
- realtor.com® may pull up to 100 images automatically from your MLS.
- Regardless of how many images realtor.com® pulls from your MLS, you still have the option to add up to a total of 100 photos on each listing and you may replace or move all images.

Changing the Photo Order
There are 2 ways that you can re-organize your listing photos.
Once you have located the listing and are in the Listing Enhancements Photos tab, you can simply hover over the images to be moved, click on the drag icon towards the upper right of the images and drag and drop them into the order you want displayed. Keep in mind that the photo in position number 1 is made your primary photo, which is shown by default when your listing is viewed in the Search Results and on other pages.
The second way you can rearrange the listing photos is to hover over the image(s) you want moved and click Edit. Once in the Edit screen, click in to the “Photo order” field and select the position for the image to display in, then click on “Save” at the bottom of the page.
Editing Photos
You have the ability to rotate, crop and save each image by hovering over the image and selecting the Edit button.
Once you have clicked Edit, you can rotate, crop and save the image by clicking the links below the image.
To change the position of an image, simply click in the “Photo order” field and select the new position number for the image to display in.
You can also delete the photo from within this screen, by clicking the “Delete photo” option. A confirmation screen will appear asking if you are sure you want to delete the image; click “Delete” again to continue.
Once you have made your changes, click Save at the bottom of the screen.
To crop the image click one of the 8 crop marks around the image border and drag them to create a box around the portion of the photo you would like to keep. Everything outside of the box will be deleted.
Once you have finished making all changes necessary to eachlisting photo, click the Save Changes button at the bottom of that thumbnail.
After making all changes needed, click on the Save Changes button at the bottom of the photo thumbnail list.
